On the evening of May 15, 2025, Global Charity Foundation hosted a heartwarming and unforgettable event—Celebrating Academic Excellence—at Siena Bistro in Las Vegas. This special gathering brought together community members, donors, and education advocates to recognize the achievements of students in the Nevada Student Achievement Program and highlight the life-changing work GCF continues to do both locally and globally.
A Warm Welcome and Delightful Bites
Guests began arriving as the sun set, greeted with a warm welcome and the comforting sounds of mingling voices. The evening kicked off with check-in and a casual mix and mingle atmosphere. Attendees enjoyed a delicious selection of mini burger sliders, coconut tempura shrimp, creamy cheesecake, and beverages including wine and refreshing water. It was the perfect backdrop for the evening’s vibrant connections.
Live Music by Perception Band
As conversations flowed and laughter echoed across the patio, Perception Band, led by the soulful Tiffany Whitecloud, filled the air with an energetic mix of blues and classic rock covers. Their performance set the tone for a joyful and soulful evening, adding rhythm to every conversation and moment shared.
Raffles, Auctions, and Giving Back
The event’s energy continued to build as guests participated in raffle ticket purchases and explored a variety of silent auction items. From Bahamas cruises to Total Wine tasting experiences and exclusive artisan-donated gifts, the generous bidding made a direct impact on the foundation’s mission. Each ticket and auction item brought more opportunity to students in need.
An Impactful Presentation from Dr. Reeta Thukral
As the evening transitioned from mingling to meaning, Dr. Reeta Thukral, founder of Global Charity Foundation, took the stage with a powerful presentation. She shared moving insights from the Nevada Student Achievement Program, where over 3,000 students have benefitted with an impressive 92–100% graduation rate and over 60% advancing to higher education.
She also spotlighted the foundation’s international programs in New Delhi, Jammu City, and Hyderabad, India, including education and cancer treatment for children, corrective heart surgeries for infants, and support for mentally challenged adults. The work being done is saving lives—and futures.
Her message resonated with everyone in attendance: education and healthcare can transform lives, and with your support, the mission continues.
